Keralan Karavan is a bold and vibrant street food kitchen that fuses the rich flavours of India with British creativity. Founded by Krish, whose roots trace back to Kerala in southern India, Keralan Karavan is about more than just food — it’s about storytelling through flavour. Our dishes are crafted with rare, authentic ingredients and a passion for breaking stereotypes around Indian cuisine. Our motto? “It’s Spiced, Not Spicy.”
Our Background
Krish grew up in India, raised in Pune with family roots in Kerala, and has spent over 20 years living in the UK with his English wife. This journey of cultural fusion and culinary curiosity sparked the creation of Keralan Karavan. After years of pop-ups, kitchen takeovers and street food events, we’ve built a loyal following — and now proudly bring our award-winning concept to the heart of Newport Market.
