Who We Are
Ty Picl is all about jewellery with heart, heritage, and a touch of sparkle. I handcraft gold and silver pieces inspired by the beauty of the Welsh language, the rugged landscape, and our rich culture. Many designs feature unique minerals I source with the help of a Welsh geologist, making each piece as individual as the person who wears it. Every creation carries its own little story – a wearable slice of Wales.
Background
I’ve been immersed in the jewellery world since 2019, falling in love with every aspect of making – from the first sketch to the final polish. In 2023, I decided it was time to take the leap and start something of my own. That’s how Ty Picl was born – named after my cheeky little Chihuahua, Pickle (Ty Picl means Pickle’s house in Welsh). This brand is more than just a business for me – it’s a way to pour my creativity, love for Wales, and passion for design into something you can treasure for years to come.
What We Do
In-store, you’ll find a carefully curated selection of handmade jewellery in sterling silver and gold – every single piece made by my own hands right here. Whether it’s a delicate necklace or a bold statement ring, each design is crafted to be as special as the person wearing it. And it’s not just jewellery – I also create hand-drawn prints and cards, perfect for adding a personal, artistic touch to your space or gifting to someone you love. Think of Ty Picl as part jewellery studio, part art corner, and always full of personality.
