MOMOPLUS+ brings an authentic taste of Nepal to Newport, centred around one of the country’s most beloved dishes—momos. More than just dumplings, momos represent togetherness and hospitality in Nepalese culture. MOMOPLUS+ goes beyond food, offering a genuine cultural experience rooted in tradition, flavour, and storytelling, delivering both quality and authenticity in every bite.
BACKGROUND
MOMOPLUS+ was created with the aim of sharing the authentic taste of Nepalese street food with a wider audience. Inspired by a background in traditional cooking and family recipes, the brand was built on a deep appreciation for the craft and cultural significance behind momos. Following hands-on business experience and recognising a growing demand for diverse, high-quality street food, MOMOPLUS+ was developed as a concept that combines heritage with a modern food-court offering. The result is a brand rooted in authenticity, driven by quality, and focused on introducing customers to the true flavours of Nepal.
WHAT WE DO
MOMOPLUS+ specialises in authentic Nepalese street food, with a focus on freshly made momos prepared using halal chicken and served in generous portions.
- Momos: Available steamed, fried, tossed in chilli sauce, or served in Jhol style with a rich sesame and tomato broth.
- Tornado Potatoes: Crispy, seasoned street-food favourite.
- Nepali Chatpate: A bold and tangy snack packed with spices, herbs, and texture.
- Drinks: Including mango lassi and plain lassi.
Each dish is carefully prepared to deliver comfort, flavour, and an authentic taste of Nepal.
