WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Bab Haus Mex, the brainchild of Leyli Homayoonfar, the creative force behind naughty sisters Leyli Joon & Co, an established events and catering company established by Leyli, since 2017.
BACKGROUND
Born out of a pop-up success, they secured the final unit at the Goodsheds development in Barry in 2020 and have never looked back, now making a name for themselves in Newport Market. Inspired by Leyli’s love for vibrant street food scenes like Coal Drops Yard in King’s Cross, Bab Haus Mex aims to bring a fresh, exciting Mexican street food experience to South Wales.
WHAT WE DO
At Bab Haus Mex, we specialise in Mexican Street Food with a focus on pure, bold flavours and fresh ingredients. Our food is a fresh mix of authentic Mexican recipes with strong influences from LA and the West Coast. We are committed to serving the best Mexican street food in South Wales, with a menu that evolves to include various specials and seasonal offerings.
- Tacos: Filled with a variety of smoked and pulled meats, veggies, fresh salsas, and pickled vegetables. Home of the Birria Taco!
- Burritos and Buns: Packed with flavourful fillings wrapped in a warm tortilla or bun.
- Loaded Nachos: Topped with all your favourite ingredients for a satisfying snack or meal.
- Specials: Such as elotes (Mexican street corn) and sticky glazed wings.
