WHO WE ARE
We are Kinn Kinn Thai! A small family-run business dedicated to bringing you the best Thai comfort food from Bangkok to Newport. Our menu features authentic Thai dishes with a modern twist, crafted from recipes we cherished growing up, and with plenty of vegan options! Since our founding in 2019, it has been our passion to create delicious vegan Thai food through street food and supper clubs in South Wales and Bristol, inspired by our Southeast Asian heritage.
BACKGROUND
Sa-wad-dee!
My name is Sitangsupa, which means “beautiful moon 🌙” but you can call me “Gena”. I’m from Bangkok, Thailand, and feel so lucky to have grown up in a country rich with diverse food and drink choices. I’ve worked for many years in a famous chain restaurant, where I learned a great deal and earned myself the title “chef.” Since then, I’ve worked my way up to become a “chef manager” of another big chain cafĂ©. While grateful for the opportunity, I missed the excitement of cooking and the energy of the kitchen. So, I left and started my journey with my Thai Supper Club and street food ventures. I became vegan in 2019 and have been amazed at how incredible vegan food can be (no, I’m not joking!). And YES, I was that chef who used to get annoyed when someone asked to modify or veganize the menu—SORRY!
WHAT WE DO
Our aim is to create the most delicious Thai food with the option for our customers to have tasty, ethical Vegan dishes for those that want them. “We don’t sell fast food; we sell fresh food as fast as we can!” All our packaging is compostable and recyclable, including cutlery, paper bags, napkins, and even vegan ink for our logo! We care about our environment, and every step counts!
