Tasty Peninsula are a Malaysian inspired food and beverage company with a keen focus on sustainability and employee well being. Malaysian food is a wide and varied subject and we try to express our experience with Malaysian food in a different way. Started by Jason Yean just as the pandemic started there have been new hirings in Sally Greenwell and Mark DIckenson to help progress the business.
Tasty Peninsula was started in Jason Yeans kitchen with a dream to showcase Malaysian cuisine in a new and exciting way. Jason Yean has 15 years of experience in hospitality working in every role it has to offer. Side by side with that he has been a sound engineer working in freelance recording and mixing and most recently working for one of the largest sound and video hire companies in the UK. He quit that job to start Tasty Peninsula and has never looked back.
Tasty Peninsula offers a small concise menu of 2 meat dishes and 2 vegan dishes. The vegan dishes have been adapted to express the flavour profile of Malaysian cuisine while being vegan and gluten free. We also have on showcase local beers for sale that support the Welsh industry. Tasty Peninsula loves supporting local industry and helping to put money into the pockets of local vendors.
