More than just soft play
Welcome to Jungle Play @ Newport Market – a fun, friendly and relaxed space where little ones can play, explore and have fun, while grown-ups can enjoy a little time for themselves too.
We’ve created Jungle Play to be smaller, calmer and less overwhelming than traditional soft play venues, making it a lovely place for little explorers and families who prefer a more relaxed environment.
While the kids play, you can enjoy freshly made barista coffee, sweet treats, snacks and delicious Marshfield Farm ice cream from our own café area. And because we’re right inside Newport Market, you can also order from the fantastic selection of street food and drinks available throughout the market and have it delivered straight to your table.
Meet Sophie & Alec
We’re Sophie & Alec, a husband-and-wife-to-be team with a passion for creating welcoming spaces where families can relax, enjoy good food and make memories together.
Our journey began with The Glade Cafe in Rogerstone, followed by The Hatch @ Waunfawr Park in Crosskeys, and now we’re incredibly excited to bring everything we’ve learnt along the way to Jungle Play.
As a small, family-run business, we genuinely care about creating somewhere that feels friendly, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone – grown-ups included!
